Mrs Anne Smith has been established for 25 years as a proprietor of a Bed & Breakfast.
Everyone is made welcome and assured of a very pleasant stay. A good number of customers return year after year.
Norland Bed and Breakfast is situated in Burghead close to the shore. Elgin is 8 miles away and there is a regular bus service, Forres is 11 miles distant.
Burghead is renowned for annual events, on the last Saturday in May we have the Burghead in Bloom Floral Market where local growers sell their wares.
On the last Saturday in July a Kipper Barbecue is held on the Salmon Green. Usually round about the same weekend as the Kipper Barbecue there is a two day event of mock battles between the Pics and the Vikings.
Towards the end of the summer there is an annual Gala.
On each Boxing Day the annual swim takes place, volunteers swim across the harbour to raise money for various charities.
